American Apparel vs Uniqlo

1. Hoodie

2. T-shirt

Note that for me AA hoodie is $40 for me
and QLO is $30~35

Who wins in each category? Need to know by the end of tomorrow /fa/!

Get both from Uniqlo. I personally like the fit of AA shirts but they actually fall apart. Wearing one at this moment that has holes all over it after maybe two months of wear.

How the fuck did you get holes in your shirt after 2 months? Honest question, everyone on this board complains about shit quality but I don't get it. You wash your clothes with knives?

uniqlo qual seems to be better from my limited exp with american apparel but i've been happy with everything ive copped from qlo

>> No.7663235

I can only speak on T-Shirts, but my experiences are these.

The AA-T-Shirts are decent. They keep the cut even after many washes and have a strong and tight cloth.
Uniqlo ones are much softer, much larger, but they start to fuzzle pretty fast.

I think AAs are better, but as they cost 20€ here, so I stick to Uniqlo and H&M.

Are Cheap Monday any good for plain tees?

>> No.7663261

size small AA tees are a tighter fit than Uniqlo, but my Uniqlo tee is prob comfier and it still fits well. i usually wear tighter fitting clothes because i have a figure that it looks good on but the Uniqlo tees hang really nicely. I think i'll get plain tees from uniqlo from now on personally

only thing good from AA is womens stuff and sunglasses and the sunglasses are not even AA they just from a large stockpile of exclusive old stock stuff.

AA does not try hard at mens unfortunately. Hoodie is only good on "your children" in a cupple of gens stop waring them out your self

Uniqlo is fucking horrible brand don't buy into their recent marketing push. they should of stayed in japan where they belong. its very capitalist trash company stay far away.

I have a uniqlo hoodie and the material is very thin. The ribbed parts are even thinner and they don't even have elastic. The fit is very slim so might work well for skeletons. I guess in general they might be good for layering but imo don't bother.

Wearing an AA shirt and QLO hoodie right now.

Hoodie is excellent quality and good fit, a great buy for what it costs. ($30 I think)? The material is in between fleece and a sort of sweatpant/sport material, a bit of stretch but warm enough. I've briefly held an AA hoodie, but the material was thinner on it I think. Didn't have enough time to really tell much else. Definitely recommended

The shirt is decent quality, comfy and the fabric is good. The ends of the sleeves are too large and don't stretch enough. Small is my normal size, but typically clothes are too tight in the chest area if they're a slim fit. These are really constricting, I have to stretch them out if I want them to not be skin tight. I don't have any other shirts that are this small in the chest. If you have even a slightly athletic body, I wouldn't recommend it. Otherwise, eh. Not worth the price imo.

>> No.7667779

AA has like 15 different t-shirts

>> No.7667802

>>7667498

No the hood is too big if anything. But it doesn't really hold it's shape like a good hood should (#Seuss) and it just makes for an ugly silhouette when it's up. Looks fine down tho.
