What? You are denying yourself of a few excellent dive watches.

In any case, the cheapest you should go is for a Vostok Amphibia, which is actually a legit diving watch. Other people here have mentioned the Orient Mako--I've used this for diving and it's done the job perfectly. An alternative to that is the Orient Ray.

You can also look at the Bulova Marine Star. Don't worry about the quartz movement, the watch itself is quite reliable. You should also take a look at the ESQ Tournament.

I trust an authentic Seagull movement (such as the ST16 in the Rodina) much more than the other movements found in Chinese mushroom brands. I own a "Bagelsport" Milgauss knockoff that likes to stop once in a while when the second hand is at 5s. It has some kind of DG movement in it.

Skagen watches have nice designs, but that's about it. They're essentially disposable watches. If you're really a poorfag, you should be buying a GOOD watch that you won't ever have to replace. Daniel Wellington is even worse. There's an infographic about it somewhere out there. Basically, these are all fashion companies rather than true watchmakers. All of those watches have the same shitty .5 euro movement inside of them.

That said, if you're looking for a minimalist design like that, that Skagen is your only real option at this price point. Citizen (an excellent company) makes some similar looking watches, but they're more expensive and always at least have a day/date complication.

Yeah, top-end watches easily hit the six digits. But at that end of the spectrum, you're usually looking at unique, limited, and complicated pieces, shit studded with diamonds and platinum, minute repeaters, or just the rare and collectable.

I have a problem where I buy watches on impulse and then never wear them. I've gotten tonnes of watches over the year and most of them I end up just giving away to friends. Luckily I've never spent more than €200.

I find it very hard to find a watch that works for me. I like cheap feeling watches like casios and that, but I want something that looks expensive. The feel of a casio for the price of a rolex I guess. Looking to pick up a Fossil watch soon since they have a lot of nice styles.

And speaking of buying just for name, I'm sure tons of people do that. I think Royal Oaks are ugly, but others will still like them just because they're Peegays.

skagen, nixon, modaine brand watches are the type that appeal to skinny acne jean wearing, CP wanting teenage losers who are unsuccsessful with women

they're they types who would save up for a few years and eventually buy any moderately priced watch that some random forum says is "better" than a heritage swiss brand watch. then pretend they're the enlightened ones for "knowing" about this all mystical brand that uses outsoucred junk movements on base metal cases priced at similar prices as tag heuer sold exclusively through reddit or tumblr in limited batches out of some hipster infested town like portland or san fran

then never CLAIM that they're made in USA, but write a bunch of buzzwords that people associate with MADE IN USA
