HY is only short on the sides and back. It should be long enough on top that what you're describing shouldn't be an issue.

Also, don't use gel, use matte paste or pomade, depending on how much hold and shine you want/need.

I use 3 parts AC fiber and 1 part AC pomade for a little extra hold and a little but-not-obvious-product shine.

That's honestly hard to say. I know some people who are deathly afraid of cutting their own hair, and some people who are just terrible at it.

On the other hand I know people who don't know shit about hair really, but can cut their own HY kinda think awesomely.

Try it yourself. Start with a really big guard on the side, a guard that barely touches it and see how it looks.

If it looks like it could be shorter and look good, go down a bit.

I do my own and it's pretty easy. I can even taper a bit and shit using guards.

Give it a try and if it ends up looking like shit go to a salon and have them fix you up.

Guys I really need help

I have dandruff and I can't get rid of it. I used H&S for ages (which has worked in the past) but it just does nothing anymore. I recently picked up something called T-Gel but that doesn't seem to be working on the dandruff either - it just makes my hair feel serrated if I don't condition.

Is there some sort of natural remedy or oil or something I can try? Or can you recommend me some super strength cheat code shampoo to get rid of it?

I'd say don't go full HY but take the sides shorter as they go down.
Eyebrows, I'd suggest a shaving razor or scissors and just do a little bit of cleanup around the edges. But don't do it too tight/shaved, it can turn unnatural and unattractive looking quickly. Picture related.
