not working in that field yet (knowledgable, and very experienced). Right now I work retail, but as far as design goes it's pretty much up to the customer and only limited by their pocket book. For myself though, I like furniture that is either really slim, low profile, minimal, but with a lot attention to detail or Extremely ornate and over the top: Lots of intricate ornate carving, highly figured and exotic wood, loud prints for the upholstery. My actual dream job is to be a luthier and build custom guitars/ basses for people, but that's a difficult business to build a reputation in and probably not as financially secure as running a cabinet/ furniture mill.
