I have a friend who is significantly lower income than us, and he's at St John's in Annapolis (MD) now, and that's like $50k/year but he pays barely any due to merit scholarships. I certainly could have done better, but I only applied to one state school because I have a really good friend going there. ;_: If everything goes well, I'll be at Loyola Chicago next fall though, so that's promising I suppose.
