Ok so I don't like the idea of spending tons of money on clothes. Because of this I find limited the help that people have giving me saying that price equals quality,

So, what are the essentials for a brokeboi? I'm aiming more for a style like pic related but in a male version if that helps.

Brokeboi reporting in, my advice is too try and save up whatever money and buy decent pieces to start off.
Get a bunch of cheap basics, enough to be able to have a few outfits. (plain colored tee's and so on.)
Then occasionally buy good/better pieces and wear them with care.

I forgot to mention, thrift shopping.

Jeans, jackets/outerwear, and shoes.

Although I personally don't spend too much on shoes, it's easy to find good looking shit for cheap, as long as you don't want anything extremely specific.

I think jeans are the most important thing to splurge on, you can tell nice jeans from shit ones just by the way the fabric folds and creases.

Well, shoes, where I live, cost a shit ton of money. I've seen 547s go up to 200 bucks. Another thing is that I don't have any kind of card to buy from the internet so that is also a no.

>>7539117
And also good luck trying to find outwear that isn't American Eagle, Aeropostale and more of the kind. Not to say they are way overpriced too.

But it seems that shoes and outwear will be found at thrift shops. May take a time but it'll be worth it.

>>7539126
Great. Good thing I don't like raw jeans.

And another question. What are the most safe shoes to wear? Something that doesn't give that much attention but still looks good and combines with almost everything.

Unless you are under 18, getting a bank account shouldn't be a problem. Just saying.
Personally, I own a pair of black Nike hi-tops that go well with my black skinny jeans and everything else that I buy.
Just find something that suits you and stick with it, only buy clothes that you know works with your current wardrobe. Make cops during sales and buy clothes that will look good even though they age and get broke in.

I found some all white converse hi's. The canvas ones, not the painted leather'ish ones. The price was 75 bucks. Not a great deal but it's quite good considering that they're at 70 dollars at zappos. In this store were also one of those tropical print vans. I know the're not very versatile but look dope as fuck. Should it be a good buy once I have the converse I said before?

As a brokeboi you can save on the jeans more than anything else

white canvas sneakers can easily be cleaned

/fa/ will eat me alive for saying this, but white vans (not sk8 his, just the classic vans) look reasonably good for $45. I have white ones with black detailing that I got for $45 and they go with a lot of outfits. Don't get me wrong, they get dirty sometimes and once some kid dropped a ketchup bottle and got ketchup on them (He was retarded and he apologized) but vans can be easily cleaned. I take a toothbrush and dip it in warm water + laundry detergent and scrub the shoes. You can also paint white out onto them.

I'm gonna buy another pair soon and with this pair I might splatter paint them with acrylic paint.

If you don't want Vans, you can get Bundeswehr GATs also. http://www.ebay.de/itm/ORIG-BW-SPORT-BUNDESWEHR-SPORTSCHUHE-SAMBA-LAUFSCHUHE-SNEAKER-HALLENSCHUHE-WEIs-/390486579142?pt=NATO_Shop&var=&hash=item5aead057c6

Black slim fit chinos ($20-$40 for Nike NSW or Uniqlo)
Black or charcoal 7" shorts ($20)
1 pair white stan smiths ($50)
1 pair black stan smiths ($50)
2 white button downs ($40)
A few tees in plain white and grey ($10 each)
1 black hooded windbreaker ($30-50)

Actually, I see very often here people complaining that their 300 dollar jeans don't fit well or aren't as they wanted. That's why I don't put much thought on jeans either. I'm just fine with 511s. For 50 bucks each there's nothing to complain about. Maybe later when I get a better job and such will consider buying some quality pieces.

>>7542349
I know they aren't shoes that will go with my entire wardrobe but I find them a good alternatives after using all white chucks. Also, must say I don't really like dressing with black clothing. I don't know I just don't like it.

They don't look bad, don't get me wrong, with the right clothes they look good but I often associate these shoes with toddlers. Maybe because I often see toddlers wearing them. Besides, I doubt they'll work on me because I'm quite short, making me look even more like a little kid.
