You should not buy a leather jacket. You should realise how autistic they make you look, suppress your desire for one forever and move on.

Leather jackets are autistic. They just look awful. Leather jackets are pretty much costume wear. You might as well wear a clown outfit, because no one is going to take you seriously when you wear a leather jacket.

You probably think you look like Marlon Brando, but the truth is that you don't. You actually look like a nerd that is trying to look badass when wearing a leather jacket.

My advice: Leather jackets. Don't wear 'em. Why shouldn't you wear them? They look like shit. All. The. Time. Get real. Stop trying to look cool, because you are not cool and you are not a badass. Wear something else that looks good and doesn't make you look stupid.
The truth is, leather jackets never look good. You should never wear a leather jacket. They are pretty much the fedora-level jackets. Let me tell you one thing. You will look autistic when you wear a leather jacket. Again, never wear a leather jacket. They look like shit.

I love jackets with wind guards, especially when they have detailing like that zig-zag quilt. I think TOJ is pretty good at getting details, proportions, notions, etc. right, so if you really love the work and detailing all over this guy, then go for it. Otherwise, I think there are lots of A-2 and MA-1's that would also be a good option.

You mean plackets? I agree. Their CWU-45p/MA-2 jacket is pretty nice and full featured. The zig-zag placket only comes at half length now instead of 3/4th length like in the picture, but I think its so that the jacket can look better half-zipped over button downs and shit.

There are a few options out there for leather MA-1s and A-2s, as well as lot of TOJ's other models. I guess the CWU-45p is nice because you can't really find a fitted version of that thing anywhere. It's really rare, once in a blue moon type shit. The problem is they end up looking SO FUCKING STUPID. It's like most 'designers' don't know how to cut a military style jacket properly. So you're left with shit like [pic related, Dior Homme] and Alpha Industries' baggy ass fits.

This is the "autist' level of jacket that Bandido and other users troll. All the details look cheap as hell. This is the kind of jacket that appeals to nerds that don't know any better. You can tell its cut too wide at the midsection and waist as well. Jackets aimed at the american market usually have armholes too low and waists too wide.

No, I mean a windguard. The placket is the fastening (whether buttoned or zipped) and the windguard is the fabric inserted BEHIND the placket so that it keeps out wind when the jacket is closed.
