I think it's because /fa/ associates it with the little swagfag pinoys and fuccbois that found out about it through odd future. so now Supreme got a little main stream and the 15 yr olds from hypebeast got a hold of mom's money to buy some camps and box logos.
but honestly, Supreme is much more a Japanese streetwear brand than anything. Jamese Jebbia owes a shit load to the Japanese market for making Supreme what it is today than Tyler.
Supreme is a good brand though, and if you overlook the high school fuccboi movement, then there are a handful of great pieces every season and they are very consistent. you also get what you pay for: exclusivity + mid-tier quality = the prices they are charging
