The clock face is a bit dark and hard to read under certain conditions which is annoying.

This one has a different clock face though..doesn't seem to be available anymore though.

50-200, no mans land, just don't buy a watch in this price range
200-1000, vintage omegas, rolex's or any other swiss deliciousness, also tissots are certy aswell

the reason why the no mans land exist is because it's just people overpricing quartz' and non-swiss watches, terrible quality and look cheap as fuck.

As I've said before, I've been very satisfied with my old Fossil. It's a cheap brand but the quality is good.
I understand why watch enthusiasts dislike cheap watches, but I only wear them for fashion reasons - as long as I can't afford a >5000€ watch

Fun fact: Fossils use the same internals as your precious Citizen. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a dirty neckbeard who thinks that the chicks get wet over his $300 quartz chrono.

I don't think many chicks get wet over any watches.

Went a slightly ritzy establishment last night... them ladies were dressed to find husbands. Quite a few wore nice watches. One lady wore a Breitling pilot... just looked weird on a woman I thought.

I have never worn a watch before but I've been thinking about picking a few up and trying it out, compliment some outfits and just to have a watch.
I didn't really know where to start but I picked this watch up as well as a timex weekender.
Opinions? I know, pleb status but I'm just trying to start somewhere.
I'm NOT about to spend some quality dough on something that I really don't know much about just yet.

Looks like something a bus driver or ticket clerk would wear. There isn't much sense in worrying about this stuff unless you can afford something respectable. At that price range it's a utility piece, nothing more.

Consider the one with a black dial. Should be same price, no numbers, gold ticks. Wore it for a good 2 years.
