Man I was just like you OP, but I cut it at 20. Even iff you're too proud or too atached to it, cut it m8. if you came for advice on /fa/ its might be because you are tired of it. After I cut threm, i was felling soo free and light. After 5 months, I can say that I miss my long curly hair, but i,m way better off now.

iktf. my problem was it looked bad 80% of the time even with effort because it got flicky at the ends and i looked like a massive retard, and finally cutting was honestly one of the best decisions i've made. you look extremely feminine in the 1st picture and it's kinda OTT in the 2nd though.

I think you pull it off very well, which is seriously rare. Seems a shame to lose somebody who can make long hair look good just because it requires too much effort, but that's really up to you to decide if it's worth it. Personally I think hair that looks awesome some of the time is way better than hair that looks bland all of the time.

I don't know much about african hair, but i know joshua kissi, sunjatha conta, and basquiat all seem to rock their nappy hair pretty well. Not sure how you would get that kind of texture, but try to avoid looking like pic related.
