to be a bit more constructive, personally i think that you should go with a darker brown colour of shoe with those trousers. and that flannel doesnt really go with those trousers either.

consider not just the colour ("brown", "blue", whatever) but also the shade of that colour you have because i think thats mainly where youre going wrong
