I think there are more knowledgeable men than women in fashion but that's only because I browse male oriented fashion forums like SZ SF SuFu and Ive never been to TFS so

Guys on SZ or SF talk about clothing as if they would talk about Cars, from
A technical standpoint as well as aesthetic. They discuss fit, materials, etc. and also discuss designers' work and vision

Most women i've seen just seem to talk about it / approach fashion as just "what looks good" with not alot of interest in anything else

Of course there are knowledgeable people in both sexes but from what I've seen I think there are more men who are "better" at fashion than women

I don't understand what you're trying to get at with this "Second to women" bullshit. Yes, I understand that women's fashion has more depth and has a wider audience and acceptance throughout its gender, but that really doesn't effect me as men's fashion still has great, practically inexhaustible depth to it. To me this is like telling a billionaire that he can't live outside of the city and must reside in a townhome or penthouse, even with those limitations you've still got an inexhaustible wealth of options.
