what does /fa/ think about linen as a fabric. id wear it more often if it wasnt for wrinkles

Linen reminds me of niggers on heavy drugs.

When niggers get so insanely high on drugs they will go crazy and eat another man's face, not because they are high, but because they are niggers.

Exact same opinion, except I'd only wear it during the "warm" parts of the year.

There's a fine line between "rugged" and "stuck in a briefcase for two consecutive weeks" wrinkles.

Favorite summertime fabric here. The fucking wrinkles are one of the best parts, you plebs. You gotta embrace all dat artful crinklin and wrinklin.

Hmmm I think I see your point.

It's a summer fabric. It shinks like crazy. Always wash cold and hang dry.

shrinkage isn't dissimilar to cotton, but labels really ought to handle that with prewashing anyway.

>>7345192
fashion district. avoid joannes at all costs.

That was a joke btw

I guess that didn't translate well through text. How can you tell what's good just the feel? I've been there once but never really explored

michael levine has cool stuff, but it's expensive for the garment district. not as bad as mood tho, and not miles away from everything else. i just copped some crisp double knit for $9/yard, 20% off for some sale.
levine loft across the street is hit and miss but $2.50/lb of fabric is crazy good. every woven ive purchased here has been a nightmare to work with though
zip up for hardware, just copped three very nice ykks and a new cone of black for like $11. they have riris too if you're one of those ppl who nerd out about em. also talon. v nice.

yea bb hmu ill wear a skort and we can take double waywts xoxo

actually that's not true, i have a black stretch gabardine that's very chill. but i had this sort of linenesque twill and a poly crepe that were both fucking nightmares. the former magically healed drill holes, but notches would grow and unfused pieces would grow and it was generally demon spawn of satan's infernal buttcunt, and the crepe was just impossible to press.
