The only thing that turns me off from most menswear is the shoes + ankles showing. I think oxford shoes with those designs are pretty gross, and I think that ankles showing is a little too casual even in a business casual environment.

It's good if it's well executed and doesn't consist of mall-tier shit. Or at least not tailored mall shit. It's rare tho.

Perhaps add a lapel, a handkerchief, a pin, a tie bar that shows off some personality.
Add some length to the pant.
Roll up the sleeves of your dress shirt.
Mix summer under with winter over.
Be the only guy in a BROWN flannel.
Be the only guy in a CHRISTMAS flannel.

If you can't think of a way to put your own twist on the standard black suit, white shirt, black tie combo or any of the more casual fabrics, spend some more time examining what it is you like about clothes.

The only reason why I give NB another look is that they have models made in the USA and UK, and they have the custom shop.

The possibility of better quality from a sneaker, made in a country with better QC than some asian shithole, and the possibility of custom builds makes them more interesting imo.

I dunno, some of the Lunarglide, Run Avant, Lunarlite etc. series are fucking fantastic Nike shoes that really stand up to wear and tear AND are comfortable as all get out.
