Always size down an M65. I tell everyone this every chance I get. If you had asked /fa/ even once before buying they would tell you the same thing. Wearing it with the liner? Size down once.
Skinny? Wearing without the liner? You can probably even size down twice.

Which manufacturer is that made by? I just got a small Rothco/Ultra Force in size S and it fits way better.

I am only 5'7" but not a skellington.

Not even worth it and would probably destroy the M65 look. You want it kind of formless/loose but It still needs to fit shoulders.

I can understand tailoring if you're just taking in the sides or addind darts to a shirt or something.

But shit like reconstructing the shoulders is expensive as fuck and not worth it for a used milsurp coat.

I have a rothco that is too big for me. It fucking sucks. The velcro on the sleeves is actually *backwards*. as in... it's sewn on the wrong size of the sleeve. Everything feels cheap.

Mostly because I'd been hitting surplus stores for months without finding one. But also because some friends gave good reviews on the Rothco.

Either way, I'm happy with it. It's been ~20F outside the past few days and this has provided more than sufficient warmth along with the look and feel I wanted

I had the same one until I upgraded to pic a few days ago.
The one from old navy was too big for me, and fuck those huge, gaudy ass buttons messing up the olive drab mono-coloration of the entire piece.
So glad I was able to return it.
