/fa/ has taught me to come to appreciate the social dynamics of the right silhouette. I've come to appreciate fashion as a true art-form, one with a human canvas. I can tolerate even the most outrageous of fashion designs, because /fa/ primarily concentrates on aesthetics instead of dick-hopping the next fast fashion fad.
I was browsing /fa/ when I was depressed, in the hope of finding self-improvement. I didn't find it here, but some have. But the knowledge I had gained in all those wasted hours only boosted my rise out of depression.
There are some quality people here, and people can give constructive feedback when necessary.
This is probably my favorite board.

i had a lot to thank /fa/ for when i first started. i mostly bought stuff uniqlo with a few things from thrift shops and a couple of nicer pieces my parents would buy me. i learnt about fit, colour matching. what brands where good quality and details to look out for. i looked good and got loads of compliments

now all i have is an eating disorder and a designer clothes addiction that is costing me over £1,000 a month. i wish i could go back to the good old days

/fa/ hasnt really done shit for me, just basic knowledge. most of which i already knew, but now have the wardrobe to apply. things like pallets though i had no idea about. i lurk any thread that seems like it has potential to talk about colors but god damn i havent learned much about that from /fa/. that and seeing all the idiots that have bad fits get shot down has shown me what not to do. also refined my personal style by introducing me to a lot more.

Ive dropped from a size 38 to a 30 since /fa/, ditched the graphic tees and bad hair styles.

I also started running so that i didnt end up just skinny fat, and today I missed my bus and managed to run to the other end of town before it arrived and catch it there. I know its small but last year id have been unable to do that.

I got told im effortless by two people the other day, and while I know that isnt true it makes me feel pretty good about what im buying and how im looking.

I dunno, /fa/ has really helped me.

/fa/ is my favourite board. /b/tards can't understand what i mean when i try to tell them how we have it here.
