Hi /fa/,

I need to get new shoes and pic related is the best match to what I want so far. I know these aren't your style but long story short, if I got these, I'd want to black out the beige logo on the side. It's my biggest problem with the shoe, no idea why it isn't white to match the logo on the tongue. How good do you think a magic marker will work to do this? I think the material is suede but it may be something else in that spot.

I think it will shine a lot and show a little of the logo, so it will look awful.
I think the Nike Stefan Janoskis in pic look similar (or even better imo) and you wouldn't have the same problem.

I saw these I think but I much prefer the design of the ones in the OP. I'm fine with it showing a little, I'd just rather have it black than beige if it can't be white.

Those look very nice and clean, but there is no stripe and those are probably thin canvas, right? I looked at all the vans and none that I saw fit perfectly. The era and 106 look okay but the ones that are all black and have the stripe like I'd like have white stitching. I don't have much experience with vans but they appear to mostly all be thin canvas. I'd like a little bit of padding.

I guess the white stitching isn't too bad...
