I grew up in south-eastern Europe, the Balkan region. What you'd call slavcore is no longer present here, everyone dresses like faggy 1D copycats, skinny/slim jeans, converse and shitty Bershka tees. I remember when I was younger, I used to live in a flat in the center of the capital city, and my apartment building had a pretty big park surrounded by 2 other apartment buildings. Every evening a group of slavcore guys got together there to drink beer, smoke cigarettes, etc. As I got older, I could see how they went on first to inhaling glue fumes and smoking pot, then to harder and harder drugs. Most of them just withered away, a lot of guys like these, slavcore or whatever, got eaten up by the post-communist, post-Yugoslav, depressing state of the society we lived in. I always find it funny seeing what things become inspiration on /fa/, but to me this is, by far, the weirdest.
