the stitch that it makes has zero stretch, so anything that fits very tight will pucker and buckle because the seams will be rigid. you can do slim fitting things, you could do bias cut things, and these are plenty body conscious, but you can't really do a tiny stretch-to-fit tshirt, for example.

otherwise, you're good for just about anything if you know how to accomplish it with a straight stitch. it'll do light chiffon or thick denims with little more than changing the needle, thread, and tension. your only real limit might be the thickest upholstery and leathers, and fur. you can do just about anything with it, an overlock just gives you more options for seam finishing that reduce bulk, and more options for knitwear.

It's just un-coated cotton twill, so it wouldn't tolerate that much rain - you'd be better off getting a shell if you want rain resistance
Uh, Quality is ok, the item itself was pre-distressed so there was some cool fading from the processing, pretty heavy-duty YKK zips, though I'm not that big a fan of the cords used.
It's not very heavy, it's a summer/spring piece, I wore it mostly in either ~20 degree aircondition restaurants/shops or out and about in ~30 degree weather, was pleasant enough
In terms of the fit, yeah, it fits oversized, slouchy fit that hangs off you pretty well, but more in a disheveled rocker way than something that drapes
Pic related is the same parka in a diff colorway, has "I want more Can" on the back instead of future days, from a HUgE editorial, illustrates the desired fit pretty well
