General pants has pretty good sales usually, you have to dig but sometimes you'll find something decent.
Cotton on is the same thing, however you risk looking 14 if you wear things from there.
If you're more into mens wear, oxford often have like 60 percent off. sometimes its a further 25 if you're a member, i got a coat for 150 instead of 500.

This is just stores in Adelaide though

Fuck I hate you so much.
Industrie is horrible brand for the price and jayjays skinnies fit so horribly and are obvious as jay jays jeans from a mile away.

I dont care how poorfag you are you shouldnt buy from either.

>> No.7252932

>>7252851
I have a black cardigan I bought 7 years ago from cotton on and its still in great condition. Cotton on aren't great but they're on par quality wise with industrie and GenPants house brands but half the price

How's the ascolour tees fit? I'm thinking of copping a few.

>> No.7253028

>>7252930
Lmao you must be fat. Jay jays fit me ok, they make for great beater jeans until I can cop much ace cash when I lose my tummy(skinny-fat). I did not tell OP to buy anything else from industrie other than tees and ocbd's (on sale). I already know everything else is total shit for the price. If he wants to proxy, he can proxy uniqlo ocbd's but I dunno if they're worthy or if he needs an ocbd's anyway

>> No.7253034

>>7252935
And it will still be cheaper to buy from Japan.

>> No.7253043

>>7253028
jay jays get worn out in like a month though
you've gotta actually spend a bit of money on jeans to get a decent pair
levis are pretty good, just wait till they go on special or something

>> No.7253044

>>7253028
6'2 70kg - definitely not fat. I've tried a lot of cheap jeans and almost anything beats jayjays even as beaters - just don't wear jayjays if you're over 15.
>>7252965
I like their fit. I've got two of the paper tees, they just fit like basic/ regular tees. I'm generally between an M and L and copped a couple of each. M fit a lot nicer but the L are good to wear with jackets/hoodies when I want extra length (so size down if inbetween unless you prefer baggier).

They're more ethically made (apparently) and better quality than most other cheap tees you'll find in Aus. (at least until uniqlo get here)

We have jay jays, cotton on and industrie in springbok land and the quality of the clothes are fucking terrible. You can instantly tell if someone is wearing the crap hat they sell because none of it fits properly.

If you need clothes to sleep in or fuck up and throw away then go buy their crap.

>> No.7253106

Happened to me also. OP, if you're in melb, go to Dejour Jeans on Sydney Rd in Brunswick. On the spot tailored jeans for $53. Fit perfectly and last brilliantly.
Then check out ZuShoe on bridge rd for cheap basic shoes.
Bossini on Bridge rd for suits/formalwear.
Cotton on for dirt cheap Ts and OCBDs.
Myer/any boxing day sales (soon) for good stuff for cheap prices, just get in early.
That should keep you covered bb :)

Always used Tenso.com to buy from Uniqlo.jp. It's brilliant. Just use the "buying service," you literally just drop the link in a box and they do it all for you, you pay once it arrives at their warehouse.

It ends up being like $20 bucks for shipping and handling

>> No.7253497

I've heard some people say Jap clothes are shorter (particularly sleeves), but personally mine fit really well. But you do have to size up, XS in US stores is an S in Jap stores and so on.

>> No.7253509

>>7253497
Oh that makes me a little apprehensive. 6'2 and in between sizes often. so I might even be pushing an XL? ugh. If i order online I get a suite of things I've been eyeing off. but there'd be nothing worse than getting it all and being too short

Poorfag from sydney here, this is what I use:

Cream for tumblrcore
The Academy Brand for basic tees and shorts
Roger David or Nique (ONLY WHEN ON SALE) for chinos or corduroys
Just Jeans / Jeans West for jeans

This will get you decent quality clothes for cheap prices if you know what you're doing.

Shops such as:
culture kings
maple
lee
industrie
general pants

etc. rarely have sales that put clothes in the poorfag pricerange
