Sup /fa/
I'm a /fit/izen who's looking for an infographic I've heard about that discusses fashion for fit/muscular people. I checked the sticky but I can't really find anything in the infographics section or on the wiki. does anyone have one such infographic, or any general advice for /fit/ dudes?

You want boxier cut shirts that fit well in the arms and chest.

You want tapered pants. You can also wear straight leg if you plan to wear something like Iron Rangers or other similar boots.

By the way, figure B is the one you want- figure A is bad.

Gap makes big people clothes

If you actually got big legs, that sucks for you

A good example is The_Arm, by the way. You can sort of tell he's muscular, but what most people don't realize is that he literally wears Size L and size XL shirts/tops.

I know what infographic you're talking about and it's shit

are you trying to be fashionable or just look good in basics?

anyway if you've got big thighs learn to pinroll
find a hypebeast/Sufu user that goes by Johnbos

I can't say what his legs look like, but his fits look great and he wears pretty loose pants.

I won't argue about the shirt fit but I think /fit/ people should wear straighter cut jeans with only slight taper, like 501s or 514s for example. I'm /fit/ myself with big thighs too.

>straight
worst advice

it will make the legs look like giant tubes
having contours and tapering in the legs looks good

>> No.7237308

>>7237000
straight leg doesn't mean the leg opening is the same width as the thigh dumbass

>> No.7238195

Oh cool, my thread is still alive. Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I wear mostly band shirts. I think some of them complement my body nicely but for the most part I'd be better off with keeping it simple. As far as pants go, I'll look into getting pod shorts as I think that's a cool look, and I'll play around with jean sizes. I think my 514's look nice, but I'll try on other versions next time I go shopping since there doesn't seem to be a consensus here.

I prefer Teddy's fits over this.

why does this guy sag so much?
doesn't look terrible but is there an actual reason?

WHY DONT PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT TAPERED OR STRAIGHT DO NOT RELATE IN ANY WAY TO THE OVERALL WIDTH OF THE TROUSER THEY SIMPLY DESCRIBE THE CHANGE IN SIZE FROM THE TOP TO BOTTOM. NO ONE SHOULD WEAR 'STRAIGHT' JEANS BUT TAPERED ONES ARE FINE BUT YOU CAN GET VERY BAGGY TAPERED JEANS OR VERY SKINNY ONES OR WHAT ER MAN I FORGOT WHAT I WAS SAYING

>I prefer Teddy's fits over this.
i don't

>why does this guy sag so much?
he isn't sagging
those pants just have a low crotch, his tops are long, and the lens/mirror/angle exaggerate all of that

>> No.7241156

OP here again.
I didn't realize that pod shorts would be over $200. I think I'll go for a similar look with something way cheaper.

>> No.7241171

>>7239013
yo I agree that the-arm is leagues above Teddy but he almost always sags
not really a negative thing imo
it's deliberate and it definitely impacts proportions

>> No.7241179

I swear 514s have gotten worse over the years though
or maybe I've just become more discerning

either way 508s and 513s are superior for fit dudes imo
