not sure if iron rangers are the way to go since i wear chinos a lot
cap or plain toe

I own 1000 miles, and I can say that they're not bulky, I mean, they're boots, but they're not clown shoes. Also, even though Ice isn't an issue where I live either, I can definitely see why it'd be a problem, I've slipped in them once before while walking on wet pavement, had it been Ice, I would've fallen on my ass for sure. No grip whatsoever.
