my razr HD got stolen a month ago I picked up this since I was curious of WP8 it's actually pretty decent for the pricetag and black matte makes it look good. probably grabbing an iphone 5 black on march or sometime around when I can get it for free with my contract

I was about to upgrade to an S4, but realized Verizon would cancel my grandfathered unlimited data plan. Guess I'll stick with the Droid X until they wrench that plan from my account in a couple years.

1.iPhone, except 5C and 3GS, they're ugly- this is a good choice if you want to waste money and be /fa/. I have nothing against Apple devices, I'm a big fan of them but I'll never buy an iPhone. 1k for a Phone while I could get the same features and a 8" or 10" screen at half the price? No, thank you.
2.HTC One- the screen is just incredible and the phone has an over-all premium feel to it. Beats Audio and stock music player are crap so get a player from the Play Store and it's all fixed.
3. Nexus 4/5- Nexus 4 is a nice phone, front and back covered in glass and with some fancy pattern on the back. Nexus 5 is newer, has the power of a workhorse and it's cheap as fk. I'd buy it if it were available in my country directly from Google.
4. Sony Xperia Z1- nothing special I can think of but at least it's waterproof and has a nice big screen
5. Galaxy Note 2/3- Note 2 is now cheaper and you can throw a nice case on it that replaces the back cover. Note 3 looks and performs gorgeous but it's made out of cheap plastic like every other Samsung phone. Same case scenario: buy it and replace the back cover with something fancier. I hate that faux leather.
6. Moto X- customizable- do you need to know more?

WP8 is pretty sexy. Plain, with the staples of everyday use. No ridiculous frills. Seems like minimalist fashion, back to basics in a current society. Lumia.

Gonna have to go with the HTC One, the thing looks sharp as fuck. The polished metal finish, bigass screen, defined edges, and symmetrical design (eg no visible hard buttons), give it a very modern look.

Windows Phone has the most attractive interface, if you're willing to look past the horrible lack of functionality for the sake of having a pretty phone.
