Yeah, I dress pretty much out of appreciation for looking good and feeling comfortable in what I'm wearing, rather than for other people. It's still great to have people tell me I dress well

Well for me (and I think most people) I dress for myself, and if I like what I'm wearing and feel confident, I'm more confident around girls.
Also girls are super easy to impress with clothes.

Honestly getting /fit/ is going to help you with women in a general sense more than being /fa/.

I dress for myself. That being said, being comfortable in what you're wearing and feeling good feeds back into how you act and carry yourself. Saying clothes give you confidence is retarded, but I just feel a lot more comfortable with myself since I got into fashion and actually thought about what I put on.

I'm dressing for myself now, but dressing well has also given me a huge confidence boost, which is nice.

I just so happen to have nice clothes in the closet. Every piece that I own can work with any other piece in an outfit. I could just reach into the closet blindly . . . and have an outfit that's better than most.

So I wouldn't say that I am dressing up for other people. I am just using the resources at hand.

I don't have a real passion for clothing or fashion, but I do have the urge to NOT look like a pleb. Dressing nicely doesn't get you laid, but it is definitely an "icebreaker"--a girl would more likely talk to an okay dressed guy, rather than a disheveled neckbeard. On top of that, you get compliments.

w/r/t attracting girls, fashion can only really compliment what you already have going for you. Even the sickest fit known to man is only a minor leg-up: the true power was lying inside of u all along :-)
