What do you mean you want to get into fashion? Obviously you don't if you're dismissing shit simply because it's different.

Sounds like what you really wanted was to impress some girls or some shit

Designers get bored, and exaggerate their style on some limited-production stuff for amusement and press purposes.

I'm bored, so here's an essay.
Basic /fa/ principle: make your body appear more ideal in its proportions. Take a gander at greek and renaissance sculpture to get an idea of the male ideal.
Looking more ideal means looking more average. Think about it. Nothing's more ugly and individual than a caricature. Don't emphasise your odd features; even if they don't bother you, there's no need to exaggerate them.
E.g. if you have a wide jaw, wear a narrow collar, if a thin jaw, wear a spread. Repeating shapes emphasises them, bringing you closer to caricature.
If you're short, you probably have shorter limbs than average; in this case, long sleeves and long trousers legs are best, especially if they are slim fitting and dark coloured. Your head is probably slighter bigger in relation to the rest of your body, so fairly short hair is a good idea.

If you're tall and thin, you run the risk of looking awkward and gangly. Double-breasted jackets (e.g. peacoats) and horizontal stripes are perfect for this frame. Contrasting colors between the upper body and trousers are also a good idea.

If you're tall and lightly muscled, please pose for a sculptor and inspire the future.

You know those classical greek sculptures are usually anatomically incorrect and exaggerated right?
