yeah, it's a thing, but mostly coming from former fatties who didn't think they had a chin, but after losing a lot of fat they suddenly have a chin. Their chin was just hiding behind the fat, but it was there. I have a really fucked up chin, pic related, i hope this says enough about how horrible the situation is. Uses a blow dryer on your damp hair. And follow your natural part. After your hair is dry. Apply a pomade. Preferably imperial classic pomade.

I use American Crew Pomade and Fiber. Blow dry until your hair is just damp or almost dry then use a dab of each, mix it together, and rub through your hair. Comb if you want to looks like Clooney in your picture. Fiber gives it hold but the pomade smooths it out.

This is just to anyone in general, but from personal experience I've had to REALLY experiment with my hair before it started looking like OP's pics. It cost me umpteen pounds of product, more bad hair days than I could count, and a fair share pf haircuts gone wrong. The point is, you really need to try everything to know what works best for you. I have wavy thick hair that grows fast as shit, so eventually I figured out that the best hair product for me is water: My hair's thick enough to be pliable on its own, and wavy is a good middle ground for any look. Also, I have somewhat of a narrow head so I realized that I could wear any hairstyle. Take my advice with a grain of salt, or take it to heart. That's all I have to say. Good luck to everyone else!

After a long time of experimenting I finally found the perfect barber for me (also very cheap, $10). Dude was very nice and never really tried to make small talk. After a while I didn't even have to say a word to him (except for greeting him). I just sat in the chair and got exactly what I wanted.

A month ago there was a fire in the shop next to him and there was lots of damage everywhere. It will take months before he can re-open ;_;

Haven't had a haircut since then, because every fucking barber here is shit and charges over $30.

Don't be afraid to tell any barber that what they're doing is wrong. Most of them are rookies, especially if you're paying around $10 for a haircut. They get paid to make your hair look the way you want it to. That means you can make them stop and cut it differently as many times as you want and they won't be annoyed; that's their job. Hope you find another good barber!

I found that nopoo does AMAZING results for me.

I used to wash my hair with shampoo every day, I tried shampoo for oily hair, for dry hair and nothing helped. So I dropped the shampoo, my hair seems way thicker now but isnt that oily at the same time. Recommending it
