Is there an updated version of this?

I swear, every guide I find dismisses almost everything on here, even guides from /fa/

I can't believe people recommend peacoats, they look stupid on any man. Women can pull it off, but men just look stupid in them.

I'd like to dress more stylishly and comfortably. My problem is that it doesn't match up with the rest of my body, specifically my face.

I'm Italian, so the hair on my body is an issue but not of too much concern at the moment. My biggest concern with my hair is how it should match up with my face. I've been washing my face every night since I got a reality check when I was 16 but I still do break out occasionally. Another problem is my eyes. I have extremely tired looking eyes which, isn't something I can get rid of easily as I have had sleep apnea for as long as I can remember. I've tried napping but that only makes it worse. I've also wondered about using makeup to cover the dark circles under my eyes but have never tried it. Oh, in case you're wondering, I've never gone for any facial hair look.

My body is also an issue. I'm skinnyfat, first of all, which I have been trying to get rid of. I've had eczema since I was 8 and can't seem to find a way to get rid of it. I'm also Italian, which means I get my eyebrows waxed (only down the middle. I have questioned previously if I should get them waxed to look thinner) and have to go for regular body waxings. I also wake up with very greasy hair, which is why I break out occasionally.

I'm so terrible at explaining things, but that's a different problem.

What's your goal?

Impressing other guys on the internet or picking up girls?

I'll try my best to give you the advice

Just looking good to most people, girls included. I actually want to look acceptable.
You know what, I guess you could say picking up girls would be my goal, just out of the options you gave though.

As for impressing other guys over the internet, I don't like taking pictures of myself so that wasn't even considered.

Alright, sounds fair.

2013 menswear would work for you.

Essentially what you will need to wear is somewhat basic stuff, I'd like you to look here as a reference guide.

http://www.samsoe.com/men

You've read the sticky I hope, so you can know about colour/fit/ and what works on you. Ignore the prices on this site, you'll want to find clothes somewhat similar in style to this.

As for shoes, don't get brogues, desert boots or whatever they suggest. Keep it basic by wearing minimalistic sneakers. You can't afford Raf Velcros or Common Projects so you'll want to go for something like Nike Court Lows in all white.

Sup /fa/

I got these blazers fucking dirt cheap, for $15 on sale. The 36 has a perfect sleeve length, but its getting that "dreaded X" in the waist. The 38 avoids the X but It looks bulky, the sleeves are too long but I can have that altered.

What size should I keep?

get a pair of skinny black jeans. Get several black/white tees. Get white shoes. Get Black Shoes. Get a black coat, get a black belt. Get a black sweater and a black cardigan. There you have it.

Alright, thanks. I was looking at some of the stores the sticky recommended but I only have a few that are close by.

Regarding the shoes, though, I've never really been a fan of those high top shoes. I've mostly kept with shoes similar to Court Lows, mostly Vans, Converse, other Nike shoes.

Also, though I don't like to admit it, my mother is a big help on clothes, mostly since she never had nice clothes growing up and was usually made fun of for it (Jehovah's Witness, terrible step-father, I won't go into details) so things like colour/fit/ seem to just come regularly to me, listening to a lot of advice she gives me and all.

Unfortunately, I don't listen to it all, which is why I am here.

The sticky is fine OP. It's just a general guide for adults who actually go out and do things - not autistic kids who think they are ninjas.

Some men were just too poor and too busy getting a proper degree to bother about how they look in college and now they want to upgrade. But if you already have a sense of style then you should develop that on your own and ditch the guides all together. Your main goal is to create your own personal style which suits you.

buy a bunch of fitting (IE YOUR SIZE) plain shirts/crewnecks/parkas in navy blue, maroon, white, black, olive etc. add some dark jeans/chinos (THAT FIT) in acceptable colors (IE THE ONES I JUST LISTED). is this really so hard? keep it simple, it should look very casual, you don't want to look like a tryhard. study other peoples fits, see what works together and what clashes (IE MOST OF THE FITS IN THE WAYWT)
