Interesting pick of designer. To be honest I don't think that Schneider's minimalism is like that of Jil's. It would be out of place. Both produce great fabrics though.
No idea who should be hired.

i do agree, but that being said, raf's aesthetic wasn't that similar to jil's either at the time of his hiring.
i don't know, to me, being able to both translate your own aesthetic while retaining the spirit of the brand is the hallmark of a great, or at least versatile, designer.

Would love to see his clean, sportier aesthetic injected into the house of Sasnder's style of minimalism. His recent womenswear showings have been strong as well, so I'd be really interesting to see what he does at jil
