YSL La nuit de L'Homme for formalities, really digg the fresh mysterious tone.
YSL M7 for "everyday" wear, works really well in autumn and winter, especially if if you wear wool and flannel. Nice cozy tones, yet fresh and slightly mysterious.

YSL really has to revive the old M7 tough.

I actually do like this as well. If you want something that smells like one million but isnt this is a good choice. It basically is a "fresher" less powerful version of 1M. And it switchs out the potentially offensive mettalic cinnamon sorta note for a well a lot of gin tonic liquer sorta smell. So you'll smell good but some people might think you smell like youve been drinking all day. Still its nice though.

cop you some unscented deodorant
head to a department store and smell some bottles
try one or two on to see how they go on you
won't be noticeable all the time but you should be able to smell it up close for at least 3-4 hrs; any shorter duration is a rip off
repeat process until you find one that lasts decently and smells good the whole time
(optional: ask for other people's opinions)
buy scent

rules on formality are shit but weather and time of day matters. hot weather demands fresher scents as musk/spice smells gross mixed with sweat. wear less scent during the day than at night.

#1: Tauer's L'air du Desert Marocan
#2: Lolita Lempicka au Masculin (midnight edition)
#3: A*Men / A*Men Pure Malt (strange situation, i prefer pure malt and guys seem to prefer it too. fucking homos. but the bitches compliment me on original a*men far more often)
#4: Comme des Garcon's Incense Series: Kyoto
#5: A Lab on Fire's Liquidnight. (hard to pick a 5th out of the rest of my collection, but this is a fairly nice, fresh burst of citrus that smells really clean, that dries down to a really delicious vanilla with a hint of wood and smoke)

Currently going through a bottle of Versace.

I personally like it, but it's strong as phuck so you really only need to use 1 spray on the wrist and then rub the wrists together then rub again between your ear and the back of your jaw. However, the only compliment I got on it so far of 3 months of use was, a guy at my new job. When I was using Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, I got quite a few compliments from the ladies. To a couple of them it apparently smelled like candy.

So /fa/, what cologne(s) would you personally recommend that would give a nice, sexy smell that's pleasing to the ladies?

I work with somebody who used to work for Penhaligon's (luxury British perfume house). She said not to spray it on neck area as the alcohol in the perfume makes you go wrinkly faster. Apparently the best way is to spray a mist in front of you and then walk into it.

That way you don't get a concentrated 'hit' of fragrance in one place and it's more evenly dispersed on your body.

Masculine sweet, with spice in the background. Without getting into notes, it smells sweet from the get go, with a hint of paprika. It's sweet but affects the nose like a spice would. In the second phase it mellows out, the smell is more subtle now, you get hints of cinnamon, leather and tobacco. The third phase, usually the morning after, is often too strong for my liking. Overall better than One Million, it's slightly more refined and has that initial 'wow-factor' (the pique of interest when you smell it) just like OM, Blue and Fierce. It's a perfect clubbing fragrance, designed to grab attention.

the real reason kids who don't know much about poltics are liberal judgemental shits

they watch john stewart and stephen colbert
and the whole childish humor, fart joke making, immature screaming as if they were at comic con, and making jibberish noises with confetti flying through the air

makes it seem like they can "relate" to the jokes, and they understand the topic at hand

(which is usally making a fart joke about a dictator, a fox news clip then john stewart making funny noises and chaining a ludicrious series of events that has nothing to do with the subject at hand in order to garner/not lose the attention of children)

a few months of this, when the kids who don't know who Lenin is, makes being a judgemental liberal (hating anyone who doesn't love faggot marriage, or feminism) looks real good

and agreeing with a mouthy jew making fart noises to fox news commentators makes them feel smart

You are not supposed to smell your own perfume after a few minutes due to the lack of sensitivity of the human sense of smell.
If you can still smell your own perfume strongly after an hour then you put to much on, and that can only mean 2 things, you are a sandnigger or a nigger.
