What is the most /fa/ profession?

I'm thinking Banker
>constant state of heroin-chic due to working 100 hour weeks
>insanely high salary (most grads start on around 70k salary + 50k bonus first year, usually doubles every year for half a decade)
>need to be intelligent and ruthless
>afford watches that cost as much as your friends' cars
>always win no matter what when it comes to money
>everyone is a hater because jelly as fuck, including celebrities because most CEO's make double their net worth every year

Definitely one of the well paid white collar jobs (lawyer, banker, accountant, actuary, mgmt consultant etc). That way you can look down on people that make less money and tell artists to get a real job etc.

well, the corporate drone is at least getting paid.

i agree with you, but there are always pros and cons.

if you've never been broke, with no hope, it's easy to say being an artistic drifter is better.
i say it's better to be an artistic drifter taking a job as a corporate drone for the "irony and experience."

Those are the legit starting salaries if you're the cream of the crop and can score a job at a place like Rothschild or Merrill or something like that.

But yeah most econ/finance majors end up struggling to find work let alone earning anything near that.

I'm planning to get a math degree, in this certain program where I also get education training. I basically graduate with a math degree but am certified to teach math at middle/high schools even with just a bachelors. Will eventually continue to get masters and possibly a doctorate in math later down the line.

I don't really feel it'd be considered /fa/ but hey, I like math.
