Lol, I'm an engineering student and god damn the sperg lords. They're everywhere. Even worse I'm switching to programming engineer next semester. I have some fun characters to people watch. I nicknamed one kid frumpy. He's 6' and probably 290lbs. He wears nasty looking plain hanes tees that his gut pokes out of and sweat shorts with socks and sandels. He has a lisp with a high pitch voice and the 1000 yard stare. He always states facts that are common knowledge and on upper floors the ground shakes as he passes. He is never without his 64 ounce thirst buster. My favorite thing is to watch the spergs talk and meme spout.

Yeah I know, they all want to do video games. I just like to solve puzzles and I like how clean programming is. Of course I realize I'll probably be in a cubicle plugging away at the same things most of the time but who cares? It's cushy and the pay is decent.

Sometimes I feel sorry for them. They legitimately can't figure out social cues. I'm lucky enough to be among friends who are extremely clever at word play and banter. We can bounce a joke back and fourth for 5 minutes. We used to have a friend who was the joke killer who would ruin those tangents but we stopped hanging out with him. After talking with my friends a conversation with other people feels boring and like I am in complete control of it.

I suppose you're right some of the time since we "get" each other and know what we all find funny. We come off as assholes to other people I think. We all make fun of each other but we're all really secure people and we can joke back. That was the other reason that guy left the clique, he couldn't handle it and tried to fight one of my friends.

For example a girl at work who likes me keeps trying to find ways to be near me. (Department store) she found a sippy cup that was chewed to fuck and brought it to my register so I could toss it. I told her "Thanks, I was getting thirsty", expecting her to joke back with "yeah, you're a big boy now" or something. Instead she failed because she turned to say something back but couldn't think of anything and shuffled away. I don't know, my whole dads side is like this, we tease each other for fun and shoot snide comments humorously.

It's all about your shoes when you're in a properly fitted lab coat. Patches are a no-no if you're in a CL2/+ environment.

They're from a poor family in Kansas though. My uncle Tom was just a badass who rocked at business management. He owns a couple car dealerships and a hunting and golf resort now. My grandpa knew he was going to die soon and went on cruises every year in his sixties. He had a stroke and now his gold digger is robbing him. He lives in a home now and I visit twice a month and take him out.
