I have a squarish head (it is a bit longer than a regular square but isn't oblong) and I've been hunting for a decent haircut. Someone said to me that I should buzz my sides, but I've read that you shouldn't leave short sides and a long top, so I figured I'd ask. Is something like this viable? Or is having a neat but shaggy haircut still /fa/ (I might just get that again since people say they like me a bit shaggyish)

I don't feel good about regular converse (even though I still use the black and white ones as my daily pair until the rest of my fits get together better. Make a decent work shoe)

The jack Purcells though are pretty nice. I have a pair I wear with my black jawns and I really like em. It is a good sneaker for the price, especially if you are like me and aren't all for spending 300 bucks on CPs (I don't get the appeal and the difference to me vs leather converse is minimal so I don't care for either. JPs really appeal to me though)

They have a better insole, quality is a bit better, and just feel better in general. They are only 15 20 bucks more than a regular chuck, and though I haven't worn them much, I get complimented on them when I do wear them. For a less than 100 dollar sneaker, you really can't go wrong. They aren't special flower like Common projects, but they will put you a cut above the Vans wearers.

>converse look so shitty and age so poorly
the look is debatable obviously, but to say converse (in general) don't age well is just plain wrong. I don't have Purcells, but I got the classic linen chucks and suede high-tops, and both aged beautifully in relation to their price - the linen ones got beat up a lot but that just adds to their style, the suede ones have faded a bit but are as sturdy and comfy as ever, the material doesn't even have any discernible physical damage after 5 years of wearing. I have to say that they are the sturdiest sneakers I own and among the top 10 of the sturdiest shoes I own.

Also I walk a LOT (also up and down hills) both on streets and in the wilderness, and I can compare them to anything from $5 loafers from some Florentine bazaar to $500 leather boots from Prada or KVA sneakers.

Some people might think that Converse are juvenile - they are entitled to their own wrong opinion of course - but to say that they don't age well is just wrong.

I need to backpaddle a bit to clarify before you get the wrong idea; I wasn't talking about that exact jacket, but a parka with similar features.
later I found out that the piece was actually customized; it was a regular parka from Strellson to which the seller added fur details.

Now if I were on a budget and wanted a similar jacket to the one linked (>>7108342), I would look for a simple hooded parka that looks about the same (color/length) and then just buy a fur collar on ebay and attach it on the hood like I suggested above, it's easy as fuck. If you buy more pieces of fur, you can do the fur lining, too, or at least do the lining on the outer parts so it gives the same impression like the one linked. This would cost about $500 for the parka (if you buy it new and buy a high-quality piece, much less if you buy it used or settle for mediocre quality) and about $50-200 for the fur (depending on how much lining you want) plus about 1 hour with needle and thread, but you have a custom piece no one else has and get to decide the exact shade and size of the fur collar (mine's racoon).

pic related; parka I got for 110 EUR w/ price tag still attached and everything. very satisfied with purchase.

Shoulders are about ~2 inches wider than what I usually get, so I'm going to assume that it's supposed to be oversized, which is weird considering that size 40 is supposedly for really small men/women. I'm just going to chalk that up to crazy japs and take up the seller on faith that it'll fit.

Thanks fam you've been hella helpful

i cant really seen from the pic you posted but try see if there's an image showing the shoulder seams
from what i can make out they look pretty dropped which is good - meaning the shoulder seams should hang a bit off your real shoulders.
do they have the arm sleeve measurements? In this circumstance they would probably help gauge the length
eg if you get your shoulder measurements + arm sleeve measurement it should approx = their shoulder + arm sleeve measurement.
tbh though i dont think there's too much too worry size wise since typical of bomber jackets to havea bit of puff and sit off the shoulder and so you would expect larger shoulders etc etc stay golden pony boi.

The listing p much only has that picture and googling lead me to this, which I'm mostly sure is the same model. Since the sleeve is only 55 cm it'd be consistent with the dropped shoulder, so yeah it looks like you're right.

Anyways, like you said I shouldn't stress over the peculiarities of the fit too much and it'll probs work out in the end.

I'm currently in the market for Acne Jeans. I can't decide between the Ace or Max Cash however. Right now, I wear a 31 W for 511s and they fit fine. I also own a pair of 510s, but they are very very snug, and I'm not sure if they look good because they are practically skin tight. I'm 5'10-5'11 and aroudn 185 pounds. I have pretty muscular legs and thighs because I work out. I want the Ace Cash because I do like a tighter fit, but I don't want it to be skin tight and I don't want to have trouble putting on the jeans. My 510s really feel tight when I move, though not uncomfortably so. Do skinny jeans normally feel really tight? Are they supposed to be skin tight practically?
I want to be sure about this decision because I live in the U.S. and don't want to buy some jeans only to not have them fit and have to pay for shipping internationally. Would it be better to play it safe and just buy the Maxes? How much of a difference is there between them and the Ace? And would you say I should buy a 31 W for Acne if that is my waist for Levis? I know they have elastic so they might stretch a bit, so I think that 31 would be fine, even if they are a bit tight at first. Thoughts?
