It's a hoodie dude, who the fuck cares how they look.

No one wears one to be fashionable

most hoodies are constructed to maximize range of motion with simple patterns that can be quickly cut and sewn with a minimum number of steps. emphasizing fit isn't as simple as just shrinking some measurements down, they actually have to be patterned, cut, and sewn differently, and the method requires extra steps and time.

I used to, but actually a post poet made about their utility in urban environments and starting to get more into casual, DGAF-y, attitude-filled outfits changed my mind. Also nice being able to have something on your head without having a hat to lose.

Still, I prefer ones that can tuck away, or turn into something else, for a sleeker look when you don't want it.

I was watching an episode of Star Trek the other day, and all the Vulcans had shirts with hoods and no collars. It would've been nice if European humans had developed half-functional hoods instead of entirely ornamental collars as top of the shirt decoration.

Anyone know the poet post I'm talking about? I see screencaps of it posted semi-frequently.

I have a few hoodies that I almost never wear. Hard to work them into outfits and look okay. But I actually got one outfit I liked out of a black hoody earlier this month. I was really stoked.

Something like this is probably the inevitable and welcome future of shirts.
