Fall/Winter coat general! Just got this in the mail but sadly it doesnt fit so I have to send it back. What are you guys looking at/copping? What do you consider to be the best style of coat? Also as I'm now coat less, anyone have suggestions for plain black parkas/bombers?

>> No.7105488

I've heard people say Peacoats are out because everyone "Jumped on the bandwagon"

Thoughts?

I don't know, I've seen too many people trying to pull off the whole "classy gentleman" look by wearing ill-fitting peacoats. Personally I don't like them, but if they fit your overall style and you find one that fits/tailor one it would look pretty good.

What are some other good winter coats? I just got a peacoat last winter but I have no need to get rid of it, unless it's an unspoken rule to never wear clothing over a year old or something.

I'm really fond of parkas, but I cant seem to find any I actually like. I also love the look of bombers. I would steer clear from any longer coat though if you're on the shorter side as they will just make you look way shorter.

I's a shame too, peacoats are pretty cool coats. Plus they're warm as fuck.

~100$ I'm shorter though (5' 8") so I feel like I should go with a bomber. But if you have any suggestions on parkas I would appreciate it, especially if you know of any good fishtail ones.

I own one. They run quite large, I usually wear a medium I had to get a small.

It is jut a thick nylon shell, taped seams all around. The quality is actually really good, its pretty sturdy. It is only a rain jacket, there is no lining.

My only complaint is yes the arm holes are a little big, so your arms will always look baggy. But if you have a large frame/wide shoulders, this will be ok.

They sell out of restocks almost immediately. I would say its worth the $300.
