I have very thick hair naturally and don't have to use product if I shower the night before. It does get greasy after about 24 hours but it doesn't get noticeably gross until 48 hours. I shower with shampoo an conditioner every day.

Try something that doesn't make it look like you're trying to cover up your receding hairline. Regardless of what you do, you are not fooling anybody but yourself. I just went for a short, conservative cut. Longer hair on a balding guy looks to desperate. But you are lucky that you have curly hair so I would stick with that. But do go for something short and with your ears showing. And try going the total opposite of your natural parting. It worked for me.

I just buzz my own head with 1/4 in guard clean up my own neck, I've been doing it for awhile so I do a clean job. and I have a beard but I buzz it down with a 3/8th guard and shave the neck up to the jawline and have a modest handlebar mustache. and my hair is dark blonde/reddish.

atm i am trying to grow the top and i re shave the side every month or so. I will find a pic in a sec of what im planning to do with my hair in the mean time any tips on what to do while growing out the top? i can put itinto a little ponytail or up and down like in this pic. Slicking it all back doesnt suit me for my head widens at the top an i have a big forehad just doesnt look good
