>implying this isn't the most aesthetic/effay bass in the world.

>non pleb body design unlike ibanpleb inspired models
>non goofy body design unlike jaguars/ect. with their drooping belly
>non cartoonish head design

Only problem is the rosewood fretboard needs to be stained black, and the pickguard shade needs to match the body shade.

What's the best shade of black to stain this thing so it matches and silhouettes up to some goofninja clothes?

It really pisses me off that there isnt a single aesthetic looking guitar manufactured in the world. Everything has something wrong with it.

Both Standard (passive) and Artist (active/passive) are not that hard to find second hand

There's also the ESP edwards E-T-100TR. Which is made in Japan and of proper quality. They also allow you to more easiliy switch pups and it comes with a jazz neck.
You can find these on eBay or through rakuten/yahoo auctions.

This. Being a good bassist is hard. One of the reasons I started with guitar is because I just wanted to "play". Ignored bass because you gotta be a precision master to keep everything together.

Bass can be heard just as well as guitar if you play heavy enough with good riffs. Also

I just get irked when people diss real (instruments). It sounds super ignorant and I always get this picture in my head of these people being kids who are growing up hearing nothig but electronic/hiphop loops/waves/dub/ect. And they think everythig else is lame.

and it irks me because they dont understand that all this is newfag stuff. They dont know music history and all it's done. They dont know how hard it is to learn instruments and play right every time. They didnt grow up with their dad playing guitar and van halen playing in the car.

Many people have said that learning to be a proper turntablist (i.e. scratching, juggling, using vinyl live) has a difficulty curve comparable to the violin.

It's a very visceral experience and unlike any other instrument in the world.

I don't like the fact that a guy who plays top 40 hits with serato has the same job description and someone like Qbert or Swamp.

It is. But it's a piece of shit to play (unless you play metvl, which isnt aesthetic anyways) and heavy as fuck. Also if you want real aesthetics you should be playing the double bass.

If we're talking guitars the Gibson SG is the way to go.

But the most aesthetic instrument of them all is the tenor sax.

Turntablism works in millimeter increments, too. There are no frets or markers and you have to aim for specific pitches while keeping a separate rhythm going with both hands. The unit itself can be utilised for sound in amazing ways, look at the birdy nam nam crew covering daft punk's rollin & scratchin with 6 turntables at once.
Until you've spent some serious time with both you're just wrong, and I don't have the energy to debate it with you.

There are definitely notes, why do you think the pitch fader on a turntable goes +/- 8? It's an octave in every direction. there is also specialized turntablist notation.
