There's also the ESP edwards E-T-100TR. Which is made in Japan and of proper quality. They also allow you to more easiliy switch pups and it comes with a jazz neck.

I see people say it plays really heavy notes ans sounds great for a $300 bass. But you may get one with manufacturing issues.

Implying Geddy lee jazz bass isn't better than all of these. Classic shape. Slimmed down neck.

Its like vidyagames compared to actually doing things. Turntablism works in millimeter increments, too. There are no frets or markers and you have to aim for specific pitches while keeping a separate rhythm going with both hands. There are definitely notes, why do you think the pitch fader on a turntable goes +/- 8? It's an octave in every direction. there is also specialized turntablist notation.
