what justifies paying more money for certain types of jeans?

for raw jeans, ok i can understand why people pay more for those... but for plain black jeans from acne compared to something that fits the same from levis.. how is the price justified?

dont mean to sound fuccboi just want some responses so i know whether i should save up money for a high end pair of black jeans or not

quality of materials and construction. if you're looking for a step between levis and acne try cheap mondays. they don't have selvedge but the fit and quality of construction is there

part of it is quality--fabrics, construction--part of it design and fit. You can say that the levis would be as good, but they probably wouldn't. You're also paying, of course, for the design and exclusivity of it, which is the less appealing part of a markup.
