Tough to say. When I was a child I wanted to be a pilot, an astronaut, something like that. I'm too tall to go to space, and my eyesight is too poor to be a combat pilot.

I think that as technology advances, these limitations will fade. I hope to visit space in my lifetime.

I think my favorite sci-fi is the dirty stuff. Exhausted men and women struggling onwards in spite of how insignificant, weak and lost they are.

except putting "core" at the end of the name.

but I'm just saying, if you want to take inspiration from sith lords, you're aiming for a pretty large silhouette with flowing, ample fabrics, whereas if you're taking inspiration from Nihei, you're going for much narrower silhouettes and tighter clothing.
Both can be achieved by using gothninja and dead future clothes though.

By the way, do we have a central tenet of lunarcore past the whole abstract of "tell a story with your clothing? I get that goof is the whole draped silhouette and contrastingly baggy+skinny clothes, but lunarcore/spacecore seems far broader.

Also, I vote we stick with calling it lunarcore because searching spacecore comes up with nothing but results about that stupid little robot from Portal 2.

Just follow what you love, and to that, pay attention: to how outfits work, their colors and proportions and detailing, what they say, how you feel about them. And build up from there. And don't be afraid to drop wanting to cop Acronym pants for wanting to cop Prps pants, or shiny reflective track pants, or whatever.

So what kind of emotional palette are you working with? As a person? That's the point.

See pic? Two are pulled straight from Acronym lookbooks. The first could fit with some versions with no change. The second you'd want to sub in a different shirt, three possibilities in different colors related, all of which could also be subbed in with the first.

Other two were me dreaming up fits. One's a pilot, breathable, cushioned shoes because he's stuck in them for twelve hour shifts. The other I was thinking a civilian or quasi-civilian work supervisor of some kind - an engineer, some kind of construction manager, something like that. Either jacket works, and a note on the pants: those Rick pants are 60/30/10 cotton/nylon/elastene.

w2c stuff like this? What would you call designs like this? Do you think it'd be hard to make designs like this yourself?

The "difficulty" of Y-3 fabrics and fabrications varies from piece to piece. This is just a tank with a printed panel cut and sewn in, which isn't that crazy. As far as categorizing it, Y-3 kind of has its own niche, but I guess you could say that it's fashion-conscious sportswear/activewear. There's a tech-y element to it, but it's still very focused on everyday dressing, kind of like Isaora or Stone Island.

Aren't those made to order? I remember looking at either those or something similar last year. Imo they're a sexy pair of shoes.
