ITT: questions that don't necessarily deserve their own threads.
This is not a fuccboi questions thread, don't ask stuff like "w2c dreamboxes" or w/e.

I'd like to know if dressing in monochrome anything other than black is ever acceptable.
I like white, I think it contrasts quite well with my dark hair, eyes, etc. Can it be pulled off?
Been thinking about copping an outfit such as white SLP high tops, white Loro Piana chinos and simple white tees from Acne. Would it work out?

>> No.7055734

Monochrome white is lunarcore most of the time, you should go for it.

Avoid:
>Red monochrome
Unless you're really tall, fit and have good aesthetics, dressing all red is a bad idea.
>Anything flashy like bright green, pink, yellow, baby blue, purple
Versace tier. Don't do it.

Monochrome blue is acceptable if you do it well and use different tones. Don't wear bright blue stuff or really light blue tones.

Monochrome brown can fit a workwear attire. Combine it with beige stuff.

>> No.7055805

Is Acne the best option for quality, versatile basics at a reasonable price? APC, too?

No. What's your price range for flats?

I buy a pair of Bloch ballerinas every season and walk a fair bit. They're a bit expensive ($150) to throw away so quickly but I completely wear out cheaper pairs within a few weeks or stop wearing them because they lack support. They have leather soles so they might not be the best choice, but they stand up to a good deal of pavement-pounding. They're really TTS as well.

You can sometimes find Bloch on Amazon or Zappos or the Outnet for cheaper. They're definitely worth a try. I've heard good things about Topshop's in-house flats, but I've never tried them. J. Could I get a constructive critique on what I can do to make myself more /fa/ based on this image alone? I don't go on here at all.

I'm pretty sure the plain black shirt and the navy blue cardigan don't mix, but can anyone explain why?

not enough contrast and black/blue is a mix you've got to be careful of. the other way around generally works better

You can wear a jacket, warm socks, gloves, a scarf, a hat, but what is the best kind of pants for keeping your legs warm in cold winter time? Denim doesn't cut it. What should be my go-to fabric for pants in winter?
