just get a quality vape and the appropriate herb/oils. e-cigs are lame a'f and the only people I know who personally used them were highschool kids trying to look cool by getting away with smoking in class.

If its actually to help you get over the addiction, then go for it. It's a healthier alternative but it's basically just as addicting. If I were you I'd just quit cold turkey. It's way easier.

e-cigs are specialized vapes that only vape specific oils. You're basically buying a less functional vape for more. Don't even fucking bother with the disposable ones.

a nice quality vape can vape both oils and herbs, meaning you can smoke dry tobacco or 420weed too. Plus they are a little more inconspicuous if you buy a portable one, though the plug-ins are waaay more efficient.

Op, just go buy a basic ego style starter kit from your local smoke shop, they're around $25-40. You don't need anything advanced yet.

there's portable vapes, which are pretty varied. The cheaper ones use lighters and are effectively smokeless pipes, but they won't smoke oils. The nicer ones will use rechargable batteries and have all sorts of varied designs and they support both herbs and oils. There's so many to choose from it's hard to recommend any one, especially since I don't really know specifically what you're looking for out of one. Generally they are pretty inconspicuous and look like pens or just small in nature. There's virtually no odor.

The plug-ins are exactly what they sound like plug in vapes. They are big and noisy, but they work well. You basically plug it in, put in a bit of whatever you're smoking, and then put a bag over a whole and let the bag fill with vapor and inhale it through that. Saves on weed like crazy.

Honestly though now that I think about it if you're just looking for a regular e-cig and nothing more just go buy some really basic kit from a smoke shop.

I have a KM double pear with a tangiers small funnel. We use coconaras and smoke Fumari, Nakhla, and the occasional starbuzz. I clean it after every use. No nasty pleb shit in my house.
