nah wool garb is an old material name, the old thomas buberry's coats were made out of them in ww1. yohji's shit is like a very loose knit quick to rip sort of wool garb but a lot of the people like tatered yohji clothes for some reason.

rick owen's unstable cotton is just a name of that cotton fabric he uses for drkshdw

it would be like if you started a fashion line and referred to a specific fur as "panda fur" and when you go to your design assitants they ask you what to make it out of, you just respond with "panda fur"

that whole code is for people who wear the brand regualraly determine what its made out of since most people who own rick have handled or seen unstab cotton before it's easier to convey fabric texture/material

Wool garbadine is a fabric, usually designated as 100 on yohji labels.

Wool is the material and garbadine is the way it's stitched, so there are variations in the thickness and thread counts. Since wool gab is used in both SS and FW collections but vary greatly in thickness and weight.

Those pants he's wearing are either from SS09 or SS08 I can't actually remember off the top of my head. But in pretty much EVERY collection of Yohji's you would find an iteration of relaxed wool gab pants.

Was great when Y's was still around, you could find a bigger variance.

Y's man and YYPH sizing are the same, it just fits differently.

Y's was a more formal and wearable iteration of runway pieces. You could easily wear a Y's suit as a work suit.

You also had Y's pieces that were like parachutes too. It was for yohji to use for pieces he didn't think suited mainline for that season.

Suits / Blazers / Pants are very easy to find and in the affordable (?) range, you just have to know the different types of fabrics and your sizing

Also in Japan it's around 30-50% cheaper than European prices b/c no export taxes or whatever, so save up and go to Japan that's what I'm doing :)
