not so sure about that. it's overpriced, definitely. any tee only takes about a yard of fabric and simple established techniques for its creation. so anything that's over $50 is by definition overpriced. however it's the cut that makes awang shirts different.

I haven't tried on or handled a mens wang shirt, but this is the reason I respect his clothes: my gf is pretty much a basic b aldo/asos/thrift wearing girl. she looks cute but doesn't believe in quality. we went to an upscale boutique and she absolutely fell in love with an alexander wang tee. the neck falls just short of being slutty (and is sort of a hybrid of a V neck and crew neck), and the sleeves are long but fit extremely well. most any other womens shirt will have those short little butterfly wing sleeves. anyway she fucking loved it and has bought the classic tee in another color and a wang sweater since. it's the only designer stuff she has "bought into" and it's 90% due to the fit, so I can really respect his brand.

Yeah the shoulder seems are a bit small. I have trouble finding shirts that fit me. I have a 36 inch chest which is normally a small but my shoulders are a bit wide and my neck and arm length calls for a medium. So my shirts are always tailored. This makes buying sweaters hard because a medium is most often too baggy and smalls are slightly too tight.
