Share your opinions on Polos.
I wear them rather often and I think I don't look too bad in a polo.

They're okay. I have a few of them. I would typically rather wear a long sleeve button-up with the sleeves rolled up than a polo. They look alright, but they're not very fashionable which is why you don't normally see them posted here.

devil's trips... polos... i think i'll take that as a sign: polos are the devil!

They're OK for sporty or active summer occasions.
But in everyday situations, they're an awkward compromise between shirts and t-shirts. Middle-of-the-roadness is not a good message to send.
At the same time, a short sleeved shirt can look a little twee.
If you're going for a short sleeved look, consider a v-neck t-shirt.

...And for longsleeve, I forgot to mention linen shirts. Durable, breathable, casual, but still somewhat dressy. That's what you call a smooth compromise.

OP here.
I think I prefer a T shirt with a long sleeve buton up over it for an occasion where I want to look good.
