Well, it depends what you're looking for specifically. e.g. for tees you can buy American Apparel (I actually like the material way better than Uniqlo), hoodies there's American Giant, you can buy stuff used, etc.

keep in mind that APC is barely even mid end denim and if you're buying quality basics you may as well spend a bit more since you'll be wearing it so often.

for tee shirts ive been happy with some alternative apparel, ive got a linen cotton tee that was about $30 that i really like. Also james perse makes nice tee shirts i have one by him that is good. for the price i guess i would say cheap monday jeans if youre looking for skinny jeans or april 77 which are both cheaper than acne/apc, but you can get apcs on ebay for fairly cheap ($80 or so sometimes)

what I never got is why you people are hyping geobaskets so hard. I like designer sneakers, too, but geos don't even look that good.

pic related is a pair of krisvanassche sneakers. I got those in black and find them a lot more aesthetically pleasing, a lot less clowny (and hence a lot easier to pull off), more versatile and of course a lot cheaper (about half the price, I even got them for a third of the price of geos, because they were on a discount).
