I'm not the person you replied to, but just look at other fashion magazines and the way they are laid out. The emphasis should be on the clothing, not on their shitty fashion sense. The majority of the page should be focused on the photography (the way the model and the clothing are displayed) and less on the text, in this case, paragraphs upon paragraphs on their opinions and shit. As far as the layout is concerned, either copy and slightly modify other magazines and editorials, or just study up on the grid system regarding graphic design.

- this magazine clearly doesn't have a reticule or has a very shitty one.
- using three or four column reticule would help the text looking less stretched, also it makes it look more inviting.
- pictures and text boxes have little to no margin and that makes the design look asphixiating. You need to let it breath.
- shit font for the headlines
- needs to be more balanced

also, a fashion magazine should look sophisticated, modern, high quality

I go to the University of Technology, Sydney.

We have a magazine made by our Design students called Vertigo. As a business student i cannot handle how good these design students dress and look in the design building. I am so glad they are mostly gay though so its no big issue.

Anyways I will dump some of the "spotted" pics of kids they think dress well on campus.

What i dont understand is why some kids in the design building dress so well but the editor keeps choosing people with absolutely shite fits and sense of style.
