I think the shorts are really disruptive with proportions here. Too boxy for your thin legs with the high tongues of the dunks and I think the strange effect is exacerbated by the split hem of the long tee.

Palette's safe and the arrangement is fine. Would either opt for black pants or shorts in a much much lighter material in a more flattering cut.

It doesn't look "fantastic". It's a perfectly fine fitting stretch jersey dress (kind of hard to get that wrong unless you buy the wrong size). There's nothing bad about it, but nothing great, either.

If you wanted to encourage her to do some really minimal, 90's Calvin sort of thing, I'd get it, but that would require still one other strong contrast (e.g. a really thin, delicate, sexy, strappy sandal or a really clunky, chunky thick soled boot or whatever) to make the simple silhouette read more sophisticated.

Honestly, in my opinion big strong legs are incompatible with the slim lower body silhouette and v taper that most good fits (at least the basic ones) utilize. So you've got to pick one or the other. The best middle ground is to do low rep (1-3) squats so you get CNS adaptation, bone density, etc. but minimize the glycogen storage related hypertrophy. Or you can try to make fits that break that rule, which takes a lot of knowledge I don't have.

Depends on your goals. It's possible that you'll give yourself posture problems if anything.

Lurk /fit/ and learn the basics. I think everyone should do full body compounds and some kind of cardio. If you want to avoid a significant caloric surplus and minimize or even eliminate squats, after you understand the importance and the negative effects of what you're doing, then that's fine. But doing crunches and bench pressing (probably incorrectly) will get you nowhere.

My point is just that if you squat and deadlift a lot, which you will if you're following any strength program properly, your lower body isn't going to allow you to pull off the ideal silhouette. So one option is that you cut back on volume. You can still progress in weight, but probably not as fast. Or, if your goals lie on the /fit/ side then you can prioritize your progress and try to work around it with your clothes, and that's fine. But you can't keep trying to emulate a style that needs the slimmer silhouette, because it won't work. So you'll have to find something different that works for you. There are definitely designers that do baggy stuff that you can use for inspiration but that's not an area I know anything about
