Then go further to rationalise these ideas in their own conceptual world to express something beyond OVERSTITCHES, RAW HEMS and CRUSHED RESGIN in a proud and respectable way

although there is definitely just a 'young money'd' aspect in which some may may realistically have so much money they just throw it at expensive things without really thinking about it
in which case theyre just supporting the movement financially although inhibiting conceptually.

sz probably has the richest archives of designer discussion on the internet, i think it's easy to mistake a lot of it for being pretentious - potentially it is but i think if you spend a bit of time look into the background of some of the artists discussed what may have previously seemed asinine and 'wacky' to be truly brilliant.
