Koreans really value their appearance (plastic surgery duh). Naturally even middle class people will spend a shit ton of money on designer labels. This is true for Koreans in the US, you would be surprised when when you go to the house of a 16 year old Korean kid driving a brand new BMW or Mercedes and they live in a shitty apartment. Theyre like black people in that sense but not as bad.
