I really can't deal with having pet hair on my things. It gets on everything and stays there for years. Half my wardrobe is black, too.
Then there's not being able to freely travel, vet bills, walking/feeding the thing, etc. I appreciate the concept of a pet and I sometimes miss my German Shepherd or having a cat to hold when I'm panicking, but for better or for worse my clothes & lifestyle come first.

bengal or abyssinian are my fav cats, they're just so gorgeous

i used to have this, wassitcalled, farm cat (not a 'pure' one) that looked exactly like a bengal. he had a slight mutation on his tail, it was 10 centimeters too long and he'd use it as a sort of pointing device, folded like a squirrels tail over his body and pointing it wherever he walked.

plus he used to sit on my shoulder when i played world of warcraft like a parrot and suckle on my ears
