All of those are japanese streetworkmenswear, I don't see how it's dressed by the internet - it's the overriding style of brands like Visvim and Junya Watanabe - which is how I dress currently - though I dislike it.

almost don't need to say anything because a lot of them are such safe choices. that's my only complaint: a good deal of them, like raf velcros, prada creepers, etc., don't give your collection (or style) a unique angle because they're so widely agreed upon. something "different" like pic related (admittedly a more popular ccp piece though) would be harder to work with in a fit but IMO more rewarding

that said, all of those shoes are pretty tasteful, so I'd still say it's a good collection

I like streetwear a lot on other people

it's not so much that the quality is bad, it's just a lot more expensive than stuff like yuketen. I've never paid more than 250 (before shipping + tax) for a pair of Yuketen, and visvim just doesn't come close to that price range. The quality difference is small, and depending on which shoe, it's not always better.

I'm not saying you pay for nothing, but it's not for a better built shoe or a shoe made from better material. It's for design, visual details, stuff like that. If you really love a pair of visvim shoes, that may be worth it to you. I just haven't liked one pair enough to make that kind of purchase.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out what style exactly I like the most so I'm getting a somewhat wide variety of shoes. Most of the stuff I buy has at least halfway decent resell value if I don't like them.
